All you need are a few bobby pins and either a small elastic or regular ponytail holder depending on the length of your hair.

Create a section on top in a U-shape and play around to see how much hair you’d like to stay down and around your face versus up in the top knot bun.

Once you have the perfect amount of hair in your top section, secure it with the elastic or hair tie. Gently pull at a few pieces of that section (not the pony) to add some volume. Now, take the hair that is in the pony and backcomb with either a comb or your fingers to create some texture and volume.

Heatless Waves
