Chlorine can discolor hair, especially lighter blonde shades, so where possible try not to let your hair get wet from the pool or ocean. If you do, then just remember to rinse it thoroughly and wash it gently with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
When the hair extension falls out of the bead it is known as ‘slippage’, this can easily happen during styling or brushing, so there is nothing to worry about if you notice that a few beads have slipped.

Divide your hair into sections and work across and up your head starting at the hairline.
Using some small pliers gently apply a little pressure to 2 opposite edges of the tip/bead and it should loosen enough so that you can slide the extension down the hair.
Be very careful not to assert too much pressure as this could cause the bead to tighten.
If you are having difficulty sliding off the extensions the beads and tips can easily be broken to remove the extensions, simply apply pressure around all of the edges of the bead so that it breaks.
As you will want your beautiful new extensions to last for as long as possible there are some simple steps you can take to help.
When you are washing your hair always shampoo and condition in a downwards motion, this will prevent your extensions from tangling. Use good quality hair products, ones specifically for extensions if possible, otherwise ones that are sulfate free is great.
When it comes to brushing your hair use a paddle brush and start from the bottom up, gently teasing out any tangles - do not pull too hard on your hair or you risk damaging the hair or even pulling it out from the link.
When it comes to styling, just like your natural hair, you will want to avoid too much heat styling. We all know that heat appliances like curlers and straighteners can really damage your hair with too much use and so because our ABH extensions are made from real hair, the same thing can happen.
Use a deep conditioning mask at least once a week on your hair. Extensions are not able to be conditioned and nourished by our own natural oils like our real hair which means that they can dry out a little faster without the regular conditioning masks.
The amount of packs will depend upon how thick your natural hair is and the overall look that you want to achieve.
If your hair is very thin or fine then you may wish to start with 2 packs.
If you have thicker, fuller hair then we suggest at least 2-3 packs, then simply increase the amount of packs should you want even thicker or longer hair. The great thing about these extensions is that you can always add more!
