No, these are the most gentle types of hair extensions and will not damage your real hair providing that they are applied and removed properly. The extensions are applied by sandwiching a very small amount of the natural hair between 2 extension wefts. The small strip of tape at the top of the weft is an adhesive and holds the extensions to the real hair. The tape on our extensions is so lightweight and gentle that it does not pull on the real hair unlike other types of extensions such as fusions and bonds which do causing breakage and even bald spots.
